Tour #30. Jewish Philadelphia Tour
A grand tour of this historic city with stops at Congregation Mikveh Israel (founded 1740), the National Museum of American Jewish History, the Liberty Bell and its Jewish connection, Independence Hall, oldest Ashkenazic congregation in America, Entebbe Memorial, and Frank Lloyd Wright synagogue in Elkins Park. There is a stop at the oldest street in America, Elfreth’s Alley, which has mezuzos on some doorposts! The Ben Franklin Bridge was designed by a Jewish engineer. He also designed the Manhattan Bridge in New York City. This is an eight-hour tour from New York.
Tour Fee: Group tour for congregation or school–$1,000 per group.
Fee does not include bus charter nor fees for museum.
