Tour #11. Brooklyn Bridge Walking Tour

Designed by John Roebling and completed by his son Washington in 1883. It was the first steel suspension bridge and the longest in the world. It connected the cities of New York and Brooklyn. This two-hour walking tour gives some of the highlights of the bridge and stories about how people feared crossing this bridge. We speak about the Jewish neighborhoods on either side of the monumental structure.
