Tour #15. Ellis Island Tour

Located in Upper New York Bay near the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island is home to the Immigration Museum. Twelve million immigrants were processed on Ellis Island between 1892 and 1954. There are original artifacts such as religious articles brought by Jewish immigrants from their villages in Poland and Russia over 100 years ago. There is a wonderful film about the immigrant experiance as well. It’s a great tour.
