Tour #21. Sephardic Brooklyn

Visit the Gravesend and Midwood sections of Brooklyn and see where the Sephardic Jewish community lives. See the great synagogues built by Syrian, Egyptian, Lebanese, Moroccan and other Sephardic groups over the past 100 years. We will visit the award-winning Congregation Beth Torah which was designed by Richard Foster who designed a Persian synagogue in Queens and the New York State Pavilion at the 1964 World’s Fair site in Flushing Meadow Park.
